Description
- Do not apply stripes to any newly painted or varnished surface.
- Ensure application surface is clean, dry, and free from grease and dirt.
- Peel away the backing paper approximately 5cm and position the stripe at the start of the desired line. Unwind and apply to the hull in about 25cm lengths peeling away the backing paper as you do so.
- As you apply along the desired line, apply gentle pressure to remove any air bubbles. At this stage it is possible to remove and reposition the stripe taking care not to stretch the tape. Carefully cut each end to length as required using a sharp knife and cutting away from the hull by taking the stripe to the blade.
- Use a soft cloth to firmly rub over the stripe to ensure a good bond and again remove any remaining air bubbles.
- Finally, slowly remove the top carrier film.
