Data Protection Act
- The Buyer understands that the personal information provided in registration shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act (Cap 44- of the Laws of Malta) and solely processed for the purposes of accounting and marketing.
- We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information you provide us is kept confidential. We do not rent, trade, or sell your personal information. All credit card information is not processed by us, but by a reliable third party therefore we do not store any credit card information.
- Personal Information will not be disclosed to third parties without the express consent of the Buyer unless this is strictly required by the law.
- The right to request access to the Buyer’s personal data as well as the right to rectify and where applicable, erase any inaccurate, incomplete or immaterial personal data processed by GAUCI BORDA will not be denied.
- GAUCI BORDA shall retain such personal data for the duration of the Buyer relationship and for as long as needed by any other laws pertaining to archiving following the date of the termination of service.
- The Buyer hereby declares that the details provided are true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge and belief. The Buyer undertakes to inform the Seller of any change therein immediately.
- If any information listed by the Buyer is found to be false, untrue, misleading or misrepresenting, the Buyer is aware that he/she will be liable for it.
- The Buyer authorises GAUCI BORDA to process the data contained in the registration form for the above-stated purposes.
- Data retention period: GAUCI BORDA will process your personal data for the period necessary to satisfy the purposes for which they were collected. In any case, the following retention periods apply to the processing of personal data for the following purposes:
- The data collected for Contractual Purposes are kept for the entire duration of the period during which the requested service is provided to you and for 10 years following the expiration of this period for defence purposes and / or to exercise GAUCI BORDA’s rights in court and/or out of court in case of disputes with you.
- The data collected for Legitimate Interest Purposes are kept for a period of 10 years from the time of collection.
