Description
Boracol is an ideal teck and deck cleaner that will help to both clean and brighten teak decks before a season.
BORACOL application method:
1. Wash down to remove all dirt and previous coatings. Allow the surface to dry until just damp.
2. Apply one coat of Boracol by brush, roller or spray, until the teak has soaked up all possible liquid. This will show when the surface remains with a wet layer on top and does not absorb the product. Avoid any run off to other areas.
3. Allow the surface to dry, until damp.
4. Apply another coat of Boracol.
5. Coverage of Boracol tends to vary but usage is usually 4 to 5 m2 per L.
Product is best applied on a dry day and not on a wet day as this will wash away the product. It does not matter if the surface is just damp, this will aid the product penetrate into the wood.
BORACOL may also be used as a:
- Surface biocide to eradicate and inhibit organic growth (algae, mould and lichen) on wood decking, patios, fences and many substrates.
- Wood preservation treatment against woodworm and other wood boring insects.
- As a wood preservative treatment against wood rotting fungi
